Por keshtu ka qene edhe historikisht: edhe ne 1860, ishte europianisti Napolenon III qe evitoi deshtimin e risorgimentos italiane te kohes; po keshtu, pas 1918, Europa e vendosi kete te fundit ne anen e fituesve; po ashtu dhe ne 1957 (Traktati i Romes).
Italia ja ka dale vetem nepermjet Europes; ka qene kjo e fundit qe e ka shpetuar. Keshtu do ndodhe edhe kete here
